Madonna spoke live from the red carpet of the Met Gala in New York City about the late Alexander McQueen and what he meant to her. 

She explained that the iconic fashion designer is very missed but definitely won't be forgotten:

"Ok I miss him terribly. Not only as a person, but as a friend. Fashion is a little bit dull without him."
