The Darkness announce Download warm up shows

The Darkness, who last month announced their reformation, will perform three warm up dates ahead of their slot at this year's Download Festival.

The 'Growing On Me' operatic rockers are second to headline before the iconic Def Leppard at the metal and rock festival on June 10, but will play a handful of smaller shows in preparation for the big day. The Darkness will be at the following venues:

  • June 5 - Norwich Waterfront
  • June 6 - Leamington Spa Assembly
  • June 8 - O2 Shepherd's Bush Empire

Surprisingly, tickets for the Leamington Spa and London gigs will only be given to those who have Download tickets, but fans not attending the festival are able to purchase entrance for the Norwich show.
