George Michael's "gay collective" plans

Iconic British singer, George Michael, plans to record an album that will be packaged as a "gay collective" to put right his feelings of guilt at the homophobia he feels he has "inadvertently caused" in the past.

Explaining his ideas to The Independent, the 'Faith' singer revealed he just wants to "make up" for the often negative exposure he faced and consequently brought about:

"I have a serious problem with the fact that every time I made a big mistake, I definitely felt I was letting young gay people down because of the homophobia that was thrown at me and the wording of that homophobia,"

Talking about the project itself, Michael intends to collaborate with unknown gay acts and artists to come up with the kind of dance music that promotes homosexuality in a positive way and added:

"I'm looking to work with gay and gay-friendly artists. It will be a gay collective with some songs sung by myself and some songs by unknown gay artists."
