Billboard Music Awards 2011 wows fans

Last night (May 22) saw the return of the Billboard Music Awards and Justin Bieber and Eminem were the leaders with a fantastic 6 wins each. 

Eminem won the titles of Top Rap Song for 'Love The Way You Lie', Top Rap Artist, Top Male Artist, Top Rap Album and Top Billboard 200 album for 'Recovery, and Top Artist.

17-year-old Canadian sensation, Bieber, scored Top New Artist, Top Social Artist, Top Streaming Song (Video) for 'Baby', Billboard.com Fan Favourite, Top Streaming Artist and Top Digital Media Artist. 

Britain's own Taio Cruz also fared well at the ceremony, taking home prizes for Top Hot 100 Song, Top Pop Song and Top Digital Song all for his hit single, 'Dynamite'. 

Taylor Swift and Rihanna both won two categories each and Lady Gaga took home 3 gongs, but the best surprise of the night came from Britney Spears who burst onto the stage for a dazzling performance of tracks, which included 'I'm A Slave 4 U', a live collaboration of 'S&M' with Rihanna and another pairing with Nicki Minaj on their remix of 'Till The World Ends'.
