Ex-Iron Maiden frontman released from jail 7 months early

Former Iron Maiden frontman, Paul Di'Anno, has been released from prison seven months early.

The rocker, who was born Paul Andrews, was originally sentenced to nine months behind bars in March for benefit fraud that saw him claim over £45,000, but was let out yesterday, May 24. He told website MetalUnderground.com that he can't wait to return to the stage:

"Back home again, and looking forward to (his tour) Running Free Again, and seeing you all in a few weeks."
