Tornado trapped Sandi Thom in Nashville

Singer-songwriter Sandi Thom was caught up in the recent tornado that swept Nashville earlier this week. 

The 'I Wish I Was A Punk Rocker' star was working in Tennessee and had just written an exciting message to tell fans that her fourth studio album was finally finished when the storm took hold and caused her to stop driving. She tweeted on May 26:

"Well just as we thought it was over, a tornado warning was just announced and just as we left the studio we got caught in the biggest, scariest hail storm I've ever seen."

"I stopped the car because it was too dangerous to drive and honestly thought one of those hail stones was going to come through the windscreen. So here we are back at the studio, all together again, after the long goodbye!"
