While Katy Perry might not be as religious as her parents, she admits she still prays before going out on stage to help prepare her for live performances. 

Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, the 'Teenage Dream' singer revealed her pre-show ritual:

"I have this little box of prayers, but they're very small, simple one-line prayers, and I pull them out and read them out loud, and everybody either agrees or disagrees with them, and then we put our hands in a pile and dedicate the show to something funny or stupid."

Demonstrating an example of a dedication, Perry added:

"When we were in Nottingham (England), we dedicated the show to Robin Hood"
