Spice Girl star Melanie C has unveiled the video for her brand new single, 'Rock Me'. 

It was announced back in February that she was working on new material that has a dance sound, and today (June 7) she revealed on Twitter that her forthcoming record is called 'The Sea'. 

The visuals for this new offering were all filmed in Manchester and the project was directed by Marcus Sternberg who is also responsible for the fantastic Run DMC vs. Jason Nevins 'It's Like That' video. 

It's full of edgy street style and shows the 'I Turn To You' singer looking stunning in an array of sporty outfits as she performs the track in several different areas that have been peppered with graffiti. 

The single itself will be released in Germany, Switzerland and Austria on June 24 with a UK date expected to follow shortly after. Watch the video for 'Rock Me' below:
