LeAnn Rimes, who has recently come under fire for her tiny frame, has explained that it's upsetting to be met with negative comments when she works so hard. 

In a new interview with People magazine, the newly married singer admitted that she goes out of her way to look after her incredibly toned and lean body, and it hurts to get publicly shot down for it:

"For someone like me who is healthy, who works hard for my body, it's very frustrating. I work out and take care of myself, and not in an over-obsessive way."

Her trainer, Michael Jackson, added:

"My main concern with her is that she's toned and healthy. And she is."
