Cher Lloyd's "anthem for my generation"

2010 X Factor contestant Cher Lloyd has spoken out about her forthcoming debut album and insists that she had creative input on each track featured on it. 

The young star's first record includes a huge collaboration with U.S rapper Busta Rhymes, which she described at the SBTV website launch as "an anthem for my generation". She also explained that she co-wrote everything she is set to release:

"It's a big part of being an artist. If you can't sit with someone and write your own tracks, what's the point of doing it? They're not your songs. They're somebody else's."

She will release her debut single, 'Swagger Jagger', at some point over the summer and you can watch her performance of 'Stay' from the popular talent contest, in which she was a finalist, here:
