Jessie J hospitalised after stage tumble

BRIT award-winning singer Jessie J was taken to hospital yesterday, June 11, after falling from a platform during rehearsals for Capital FM's Summertime Ball.

The event is taking place this afternoon, June 12, at Wembley Arena but the 'Price Tag' singer's practice run was cut short after an unfortunate tumble. She tweeted to keep her fans updated:

"Just want to let my #heartbeats (ones waiting outside wembley) know that I have been taken to hospital after falling of a platform. I have ripped a main ligament in my foot and have been put on crutches and told to rest. Im in a lot pain :( so please dont wait in the cold for me.. #sorry! :`("

A few hours later, she wrote another message to her Heartbeats that explained she wouldn't dream of letting them down:

"Dont get it twisted! Im gonna be singing tomorrow at #STB even if I have to crawl, be carried or be wheeled onto stage! My foot is 3 times it normal size but my #heartbeats RULE and I will NOT YOU DOWN!"
