Tinie Tempah wants to break US market to inspire youngsters

British rapper, Tinie Tempah, has talked about how he wants to break into the US market to spread a positive message to promising young musicians.

He told BANG Showbiz: "It's very important for me to break the US market, it shows that British rappers can have the potential to do that - not many people have done it before and I want to work really hard and make it big time out there so young people can be inspired by me."

The 22-year-old star admitted while it would have been "an honour" to perform at the recent royal wedding, watching the nuptials from his hotel room was enough.

"I was in Atlanta at the time of the royal wedding watching it all go on from the comfort of my hotel room, which was enough for me. It would have been an honour to perform but one of my best friends in music, Ellie Goulding, did it, which is great."
