Spice Girls star, Mel B, has revealed in a new video blog that she is indeed working on new material. 

The singer, often referred to as Scary Spice, is currently acting as a judge on the Australian edition of X Factor has been holed up in her home studio during her down time to create new music for her fans. She explained:

"This is my home studio - the boys are working hard on some of my stuff!"

At the end of the update she added, "so yes it is true, I am working on my music!" and tweeted on June 26:

"making up some amazing beats in home studio,laying down vocals next week!! may have a surprise guest help me with some backing vocals yipeee"
