Beyoncé secures her No.1 position with '4'

Superstar Beyoncé has secured her midweek No.1 with '4' after her stunning performance at Glastonbury last weekend.

The 'Run The World (Girls)' hitmaker flew to the top of the UK albums chart on Wednesday, June 29 and has managed to hold onto the position, beating competition from Adele's '21', at No.2, and Lady Gaga's 'Born This Way' at No.3.

Jessie J's debut album, 'Who You Are', has moved up 5 slots to No.6 while festival favourites Biffy Clyro have made an appearance at No.9 with 'Revolutions/Live At Wembley'. Kaiser Chiefs are at No.10 with 'The Future Is Medieval' after entering at 8 in the midweek update.
