Labrinth to release new single, 'Earthquake', soon

Singer and producer Labrinth is "almost at the end" of working on his debut album and can't wait for fans to hear his new "wild stuff".

Speaking to BBC's Newsbeat, the 22-year-old 'Sunshine' singer explained that despite nearing the end of his own project, he expects the A-list stars of music to begin flooding him once again with requests to produce their material:

"I've been a bit of a hermit in my studio, creating some greatness, some wild stuff. I'm very, very excited about it - it's going to be great".

"I've been producing the new single which is coming out soon, it's called Earthquake."

He also revealed that Ne-Yo has tried to get in touch

"Ne-Yo tried to call my phone through one of my friends. I'm almost at the end of my album and as soon as I'm at the end of it I know they'll all be rushing through the studio door".
