Scouting For Girls planning concept album

Scouting For Girls have revealed that their next record is likely to be a concept album.

The 'This Ain't A Love Song' stars have already begun working on new material and frontman Roy Stride told BANG Showbiz that they have an idea for a narrative that could potentially shape each song:

"We're thinking about having a loose concept to the next album - I'm not sure exactly how it will work, but we have a song called 'It Only Rains in LA', which we actually kept back for the third album."

"It's about a girl who takes a job in Los Angeles and her boyfriend doesn't want her to go, so he makes up this lie that it always rains in LA."

"So it may be about him going off to see her. I've always liked themes like unrequited love and lost lovers. I'm not completely sure how it would work yet. We're still working on it. It could be s**t, we'll see."

The band will release a bonus edition of their latest album, 'Everybody Wants To Be On TV', on July 18 and it will include 4 new tracks. Watch their most recent video for 'Love How It Hurts' here:
