The Script confirm they're working with Tinie Tempah

The Script have confirmed that they've been working with UK rapper Tinie Tempah

Speaking to the Daily Star backstage at T in the Park, the Irish band revealed that they "really get on with the guy" and decided they should pull together and collaborate.

"We’re always texting each other about meeting up – there is definitely something in the pipeline. Some people might think it is an interesting hook-up but that kind of music is our background."

The two acts have performed live together before, but working on recorded material as a partnership is unexplored territory for both of them, and the 'We Cry' stars added:

"We really get on with the guy – he is so down-to-earth and we love hanging out with him. He’s just normal.”

"We studied R&B and hip-hop for 10 years in America with Dallas Austin. However, I don’t know about bringing more hip-hop into The Script for album three. If a song called for it and it was a natural fit we’d do it, but we definitely don’t wanna do it just for the sake of it. It has to be right.”
