Blondie keen to record an LMFAO style dance video

Blondie are set to release their new album, 'Panic of Girls', in September but the band are already keen to start work on a new direction. 

The group, fronted by iconic singer Debbie Harry, are keen to record a dance-inspired track and want to make a video similar to LMFAO's 'Party Rock Anthem'. Harry explained:

"One of the things I would like to do before I'm too old to do it - which could be very soon - is a video where I do a lot of dancing like Lmfao."

"That is my great ambition... I'm deeply involved with being current, and that's the most important thing to me right now."

Blondie's guitarist, Chris Stein, added:

"That video is one of the best dance videos I've ever seen. Their dancing is so tight."

They recently revealed the album artwork for 'Panic of Girls' and it was released on July 4 in the UK, but will be made available on September 13 in the U.S. Watch Harry talk about the new record here:
