Calvin Harris prefers life behind the music

Calvin Harris has opened up about his role in the music industry and admits he wants to be the guy behind the tracks.

The 'Bounce' star has previously stressed that he isn't a front man and after the recent confirmation that he will replace Duran Duran at this year's V Festival has explained that he works best behind-the-scenes:

"I'm a producer, I make the songs, I can't stress that enough. I'm the guy that writes them, makes them and mixes them. No-one really does that but that's what I'm good at it."

Harris also confirmed that he will unveil three more singles before officially releasing his forthcoming album in 2012, and added:

"I won't say anyone I've been working with 'cos I think it's more fun. The ones that ask you to collaborate are never the ones you want to work with, sadly. The people that I really like I definitely try to approach."
