The Wanted's unusual video casting

Boy band The Wanted recently unveiled their music video for new single 'Glad You Came' and have revealed that they had an unusual casting session for one of the extras.

Speaking to the Daily Star newspaper, the 'All Time Low' singers explained that after an unfortunate water gun incident that left one of the female stars fuming they were forced to find a replacement and took to the streets of Ibiza to scout the perfect girl:

"One of the girls in our video wasn’t happy though. Max was having a water fight and shot her in the face with his water gun."

"She was supposed to stick around and do another one-on-one scener but she quit."

"So in the end we used a stranger, a girl we picked up off the street at seven in the morning coming out of a nightclub. She was stunning and up for it."

The popular group also added that their new record will showcase a darker side to their seemingly carefree nature and one track in particular is "really dark":

"One of them is really dark and definitely an autumn song. Max and Jay wrote War Zone and it’s about a very horrible ex, seeing something you simply wouldn’t want to see and how you feel about that."

"That’s all we can say about it for now, but we hope people will identify with it."
