Sir Elton won't "rush" his Rocket Music stars

Sir Elton John won't be forcing his newly signed artists to "rush" records out through his very own Rocket Music Group and insists he will let them take their time. 

The 'Your Song' superstar launched Rocket Music Entertainment Group last month and has already acquired Ed Sheeran, James Blunt and Lily Allen for his growing roster, but will not be attempting to fast track any of his musicians' careers. 

He explained to Music Week on July 14: "The worst thing to do is to rush people to have a record out. They’ll make a record when they’re ready and it comes out when it is ready."

Sir Elton will perform at Hatfield House in Hertfordshire on July 17 before embarking upon a one-month residency at The Colosseum at Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas, and you can watch him sing his classic hit, 'Tiny Dancer', here:
