Barbra Streisand announces new album

Barbra Streisand has announced plans to release a new album this summer.

The record, entitled 'What Matters Most: Barbra Streisand Sings The Lyrics of Alan and Marilyn Bergman’, will feature 10 tracks and is set to drop on August 22.

The album is exclusively written by long-time collaborators, Alan and Marilyn Bergman, and will be released through Columbia Records.

It will be a follow-up to the Broadway legend’s album, ‘Love is the Answer’, which topped the charts in 2009. Barbra was the first artist to achieve number one albums in five consecutive decades in both the UK and US.

She produced the album herself, and the tracklisting includes 'The Windmills of Your Mind', which featured in the 1968 film, ‘The Thomas Crown Affair’.
