The trailer for Rihanna's first full-length motion picture, 'Battleship, has finally been unveiled. 

The movie, which is about an alien invasion at sea, is due for release on May 18, 2012 in the UK but the teaser clip has already surfaced although the 'Man Down' star barely features in it. 

This marks the Bajan beauty's second film as she has previously starred in 'Bring It On: All Or Nothing", but her role was considerably smaller. Last year, Rihanna told MTV News that acting is something she really wants to pursue:

"Working with [director] Peter Berg is unbelievable. I love doing movies now. It's something I want to do more of. I just want to pick films that are wise for me and roles that I can pull off, nothing that is too big for me."
