Coheed and Cambria's bassist, Michael Todd, leaves the band
Coheed and Cambria's bassist, Michael Todd, has officially left the band after what the prog-rockers called a "mutual decision" on Thursday, August 4.
Todd was taken into custody in Massachusetts back in July after walking into a pharmacy and confronting the staff with a bomb threat because he wanted to obtain bottles of the pain drug, Oxycontin, and the 'Welcome Home' stars released a statement detailing his departure:
"After a lot of thought, introspection and discussion, Coheed and Cambria will be continuing our journey without bassist Michael Todd. We have spoken to him and this is a mutual decision between both parties. Michael was a great contributor; our hearts go out to his family and to all those who appreciate his talents."
Wes Styles will be Todd's temporary replacement and you can watch the band's video for 'The Suffering' below:
