Noel Gallagher wishes he had written Mumford & Sons' 'The Cave'

Newly solo Noel Gallagher has revealed that he wishes he had written Mumford & Sons' track, 'The Cave'.

In a new interview with the Rolling Stone, he praised the folk rockers for their ability to write a flawless yet organic song and said:

"What's the first big song they had? I love that. [Hums "The Cave."] I don't know what the fuck it's called. I haven't heard anything that sounds as good as that. I don't mind them. A lot of fucking people hate them in England."

"I think it's the waistcoat and facial hair. I don't mind them. I think that guy's got a good voice . . . I wish had written that song. That's the biggest compliment I can pay whoever wrote that."
