Smashing Pumpkins will debut new songs on fall tour

The Smashing Pumpkins said they will debut their new material from their upcoming album, 'Oceania', when they go on tour this October.

The band is comprised of mastermind Billy Corgan and newer members Jeff Schroeder, Mike Byrne and Nicole Fiorentino. Corgan has promised to play a mix of hits and fresh new songs.

'Oceania' will be the band's first full record since comeback album 'Zeitgeist' in 2007. However, 'Oceania' is technically part of the group's larger 44-song Teargarden by Kaleidyscope project, which is scheduled to come out sometime in early 2011.

Before its release, the band will begin the first stages their reissues which include deluxe repackaged editions of their early classics 'Gish' and 'Siamese Dream' due out later this year.
