Justin Bieber has claimed the top spot in a poll of the richest teen stars.

The ‘Baby’ hitmaker has acquired a staggering $53 million (£33 million) in 2010 alone.

Bieber's 3D concert movie ‘Never Say Never’, his new perfume line 'Someday', and record sales have been credited for amassing his fortune according to People magazine's list of the wealthiest teenage stars.

Singer Miley Cyrus, best known in her TV role as Hannah Montana, isn't far behind, on the list with a $48 million (£30 million) due to her recent world tour.

Cyrus' ex-boyfriend Nick Jonas pulled in at $12.5 million (£7.8 million), followed by Will Smith's children - Jaden and Willow - who both banked an estimated $9 million (£6.9 million) each.

Also on the list are Twilight star, Taylor Lautner, earning $8.5 million (£5.3 million) and Bieber’s girlfriend, singer and actress Selena Gomez with $5.5 million (£3.4 million).
