Noel Gallagher regrets 'hasty decision' to quit Oasis

Noel Gallagher regrets his "hasty decision" to quit Oasis, now that he can't stage a 20-year anniversary celebration in 2015.

The British rocker walked left band in 2009 after a row with his brother Liam before a gig in Paris, France.

Brother Liam and his bandmates have gone on to form Beady Eye, while Noel has launched a solo career.

He said in an interview with Britain's Absolute Radio, "It was a hasty decision, I've got to say, and we could maybe have all gone off and done other things for a few years.

"In my own head the 2015, 20-year anniversary of (What's The Story) Morning Glory is looming and we could have maybe come back, made a new album and played that album in its entirety and gone - and been the greatest thing ever. But there you go."
