Press Release: Hard-Fi's new album 'Killer Sounds' out on Monday

BRAND NEW ALBUM ‘KILLER SOUNDS’ - RELEASED AUGUST 22

Following their triumphant headline slot at the Leftfield stage at Glastonbury, BRIT-nominated quartet Hard-Fi have today announced news of their next single, ‘Fire In The House’, which will be released on August 8th through Necessary Records/Atlantic Records. Hard-Fi have also now confirmed the name of their forthcoming third album, Killer Sounds, which is coming out August 22nd.

After the release of ‘Good For Nothing’, which included radio support from the likes of Zane Lowe (‘Hottest Record in the World’), Fearne Cotton (‘Record of The Week’) and countless plays on XFM, Absolute Radio and Kerrang!, ‘Fire In The House’ is set to follow suit. Produced by the Music Week’s Producer Of The Year Stuart Price, the single is also being treated to a host of remixes which will be available to purchase, including a remix from world-renowned Dutch super DJ Tiesto.

The four-piece from Staines have been busy working on their third studio album for the past eighteen months, which is set for release on August 22. The album, suitably titled ‘Killer Sounds’, was co-produced by the band’s frontman, Richard Archer, with assistance from big names such as Stuart Price (Killers, Madonna), Grey Kurstin (Lily Allen) and Alan Moulder (Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Killers) and recorded in Staines’ Cherry Lips studios as well as Los Angeles.

Following a triumphant return to Glastonbury 2011 to headline the Leftfield Stage after four years, Hard-Fi will play a string of shows in September, which kick off in Norwich on September 21 and include a sold out London Forum show on September 23.

With the band’s million-selling debut, ‘Stars of CCTV’, the number 1 follow up, ‘Once Upon A Time In The West’ and two BRIT award nominations (2006’s ‘Best British Group’ and ‘Best British Rock Act’) already under their belts Hard-Fi are set to reign the charts once again.
