Will Young's 'Echoes' enters the UK albums chart at No.1

Singer Will Young looks set to earn himself a No.1 this coming Sunday (August 28) with his fifth studio album, 'Echoes'. 

The star's new single, 'Jealousy', has enjoyed similar success in the UK singles chart after entering today at No.3 and according to the Official Charts Company is set to remain at No.1 with his new record this weekend.

Joe McElderry has the second highest new entry this afternoon (August 24) with his new album, 'Classic', and is currently in Gateshead to sign copies of the record in HMV at 5pm BST. 

There are even more new entries in the UK Top 10 as Wretch 32 has scored at No.4 with 'Black and White', Barbra Streisand's 'What Matters Most' has charted at No.5 and Hard Fi's comeback, 'Killer Sounds', is just behind at No.7.

Meanwhile, Game's latest offering, 'The Red Album', has landed at No.10. The positions will be confirmed at the weekend and you can watch behind the scenes footage of Will Young's video for 'Jealousy' below:
