Tiësto to make DJ concert history in the US

Tiësto will make U.S. concert history in October when he plays the largest single-headliner DJ show ever.

The Dutch super-DJ will close his upcoming Club Life College Invasion Tour with a date at the 26,000-capacity Home Depot Stadium in Los Angeles.

The concert will be on October 8 and is expected to be a sell out.

Tiësto said he can't wait and told Billboard.com:

"L.A. has always been such a welcoming city to me and it's been a while since I've played there, so to be able to finish off the college tour with such a great show is really special."

Tiësto is one of the biggest electronic acts in the world.

He's sold over 1.3 million tracks in the U.S., according to Soundscan, and has had 15 albums on Billboard's Top Electronic Albums chart, including the No. 1 'Elements of Life' in 2007.
