Joe Jonas lands dream movie role

Since launching his solo career, Joe Jonas has seen many doors of opportunity open to him.

Now, the former Disney star has landed a dream film role. Jonas has previously starred in the teen Disney Channel Original Movie 'Camp Rock' and its sequel, 'Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam', but his transition from Jonas Brother to 'See No More' solo star has signified a career transition.

He revealed to E! News that after a nerve-wracking wait, it was finally confirmed that the exciting project had been financed and was going ahead:

"I was in Mexico City last week and my manager called me and said, 'The movie's financed!' I was, like, in tears."

Robert Munic, who wrote the screenplay for Channing Tatum's '09 movie 'Fighting', is penning the script for the movie although no further details have been given. Jonas added:

"The storyline is still bare bones, but I will say he (my character) has a specific dream that he wants to accomplish, and it's the good and the bad he has to go through to get there."
