Just hours after his lawyer dismissed early release reports, rapper T.I. has walked free from prison. 

The 'Live Your Life' star had been serving a 10-month sentence at the Arkansas Forrest City Correctional Facility for a probation violation, but Chris Burke - the spokesman for the Federal Bureau of Prisons - confirmed that T.I. left the jail this morning (August 31) at 7.29am CST. 

He tweeted a message to his fans and followers earlier this afternoon:

"Feels great to be back where I belong … Back in the arms of those who need me the most. The storm is over & da sun back out. IT'S OUR TIME TO SHINE SHAWTY!!!!! Welcome to the beginning of our Happy Ending!!!!"
