Benni Cinkle releases inspirational debut single 'Can You See Me Now'

Benni Cinkle, who appeared as 'that girl in pink' in Rebecca Black's 'Friday' video, has unveiled her very own debut single.

The 13-year-old premiered 'Can You See Me Now' in hope that it will act as an anti-bullying anthem. She already acts as an anti-bullying activist in the U.S after launching her non-profit organisation called That Girl In Pink earlier this year.

A recent press release described Cinkle's source of inspiration for the track, which she wrote herself:

"('Can You See Me Now') A song she had written in 2010 after reading what kids her age were posting on www.sixbillionsecrets.com. Their stories of child abuse, sexual abuse, depression, bulimia, and so many other teen issues moved Cinkle and inspired her to write her message of hope for troubled kids and teens all over the world. She said the song just came to her "all at once"."
