Green Day's Billie Joe Armstrong got a lot more than he bargained for when trying to board a recent flight from Oakland to Burbank, California. 

The 39-year-old rocker was kicked off the Southwest Airlines plane on Friday, September 2 after refusing to pull up his trousers and took to social networking site Twitter to express his outrage at the treatment he suffered:

"Just got kicked off a southwest flight because my pants sagged too low! What the fuck? No joke!"

Brad Hawkins, a spokesperson for Southwest, explained in an official statement that Armstrong was allowed to board the next flight and finally arrived at his destination.
