Smashing Pumpkins have announced details of a full UK tour for November.

The band, fronted by Billy Corgan and now featuring an almost entirely new line up, are set to perform seven dates around the country later this year and two nights will be spent rocking London's Brixton O2 Academy. 

The tour will be in support of the hugely popular band's ninth studio album, 'Oceania', which is due for release toward the end of 2011. Catch them at the following venues:

• November 11 - Manchester O2 Apollo
• November 13 - Glasgow O2 Academy
• November 14 - Newcastle O2 Academy
• November 15, 16 - London O2 Academy Brixton
• November 18 - Sheffield O2 Academy
• November 19 - Birmingham O2 Academy
