The nominees for this year's MTV EMAs have finally been unveiled and pop icon Lady Gaga is leading the pack with an impressive 6 nods. 

The 'Judas' superstar has been recognised in the categories of Biggest Fans, Best Video and Best Song for 'Born This Way', Best Female, Best Pop and Best Live. Meanwhile, Adele has 4 nominations for Best Female, Best Video and Best Song for 'Rolling In The Deep' and MTV UK & Ireland / Best UK & Ireland Act. 

Other frontrunners in the contest include Katy Perry, who will battle Gaga and Adele for the Best Song, Best Live, Best Female and Best Pop titles, and Bruno Mars, who is up for Best Push, Best Male, Best New and Best Song for 'Grenade'. 

The ceremony will take place on November 6 at Belfast's Odyssey Arena and will be broadcast live on MTV from 9pm.
