Lady Gaga and Jessie J have both been nominated for prizes at this year's Stonewall Awards. 

The organisation describes the ceremony as rewarding "those who have made a positive impact on the lives of lesbian, gay and bisexual people in Britain in the last 12 months" and the 'Judas' pop icon has been recognised in the respected category Hero of the Year for her continued support of and campaigning for the international LGBT community. 

Meanwhile, Jessie J is up for Entertainer of the Year and she will fight against actors and actresses Christopher Plummer, Matt Smith, Harry Derbridge and Jane Hazelgrove for the title.
