Mark Ronson and Katy B will be recording a song together for the Olympics

Mark Ronson and Katy B have announced that they will be recording a song together for the 2012 London Olympics.

The song will be used as the theme for the London games and it will also feature on Coca-Cola adverts.

Ronson told the Guardian that he has been traveling around the world, recording the grunts that athletes make when they train.

Of table tennis star, Darius Knight, he says:

"Sometimes he uses it to put off his opponents, and sometimes it is a sound of victory – to me it sounded like James Brown, so I knew I would use that."

The song is expected to be released in March and Ronson acknowledges the pressure that comes with making this song:

"You have one shot, one song. It has to be great."
