Steps think there's a gap in the market for their 2012 reunion90s pop group Steps announced a comeback tour yesterday, October 10, and they feel that it's perfect timing because there's a "gap" for their sound in today's market. Speaking to Digital Spy, the band's Lisa Scott-Lee explained that there are no other contemporary acts in the chart at the moment that are similar and she thinks they'll be successful in their 2012 reunion: "Times have changed, but we are in a recession and Steps' music was very light-hearted and fun, so there could be a place for that in today's society. What else is interesting is that there aren't any boy/girl pop groups out there at the moment, so there's definitely a gap there." The '5, 6, 7, 8' stars will perform at the following venues around the country next year:
