Dr. Conrad Murray accused of being "grossly negligent" at trial

A witness in the manslaughter trial of Doctor Conrad Murray has said that he was "grossly negligent" to administer propofol to Michael Jackson.

After taking the stand, Dr Elon Steinberg explained that he thought Murray "should not have given him [Michael Jackson] propofol for sleep".

He also criticised Murray for not keeping tabs on what he was giving to Jackson and added, "if he would have remembered exactly what he had given he could have communicated that to the emergency room doctors."

"It may not be a causation of death but it was a deviation of care."
