Justin Bieber to take paternity test

Justin Bieber will take a paternity test to prove that he is not the father of Mariah Yeater's 3-month-old son.

The 17-year-old superstar was slapped with a lawsuit last week that named him as the father of 20-year-old Yeater's baby after she claimed to have slept with the 'Never Say Never' singer backstage at one of his concerts.

Matthew Hiltzik, a spokesperson for Bieber, has confirmed that as soon as he returns to the U.S from his promotional obligations he will take the test and his team will "vigorously pursue all available legal remedies to protect Justin."

Yeater's own legal team recently told press that they had "credible evidence" to support her allegation that Bieber is the father although during his performance in New York City for the Today Show, he stressed he had "never met the woman".
