JLS land a midweek No.1 with 'Take A Chance On Me'

Boyband JLS have scored a midweek No.1 with their new single, 'Take A Chance On Me'.

The lads are well on their way to securing their sixth No.1 on the UK Top 40 and according to the Official Charts Company are set to hold off competition from Rihanna and Calvin Harris' joint hit, 'We Found Love', which is currently at No.2, until Sunday (November 13) when the positions are confirmed.

'Earthquake' by Labrinth ft. Tinie Tempah is at No.3, Professor Green's smash hit 'Read All About It' has slipped 3 places to No.4 and Cher Lloyd's latest offering 'With Ur Love' now sits at No.5.

Pixie Lott has this week's second highest new entry at No.7 with 'What Do You Take Me For' and Bruno Mars' 'It Will Rain', which features on the soundtrack for the new Twilight movie, has made an appearance at No.16.
