Will.i.Am on securing Mick Jagger for 'T.H.E (The Hardest Ever)' collaboration

Black Eyed Peas frontman Will.i.Am has opened up about securing rock legend Mick Jagger to work on his new single, 'T.H.E (The Hardest Ever)'. 

The 'Boom Boom Pow' star suggested Jagger to his label bosses when showing them his new track and was shocked when they were able to recruit him for the project:

"I went to play it for the label and they're like, 'Yo, this is dope. Who are you gonna put on it?' So I think of the hardest thing ever. And it happened! Mick Jagger. I just wanted to throw something out there so they'd stop asking me."

He performed the track live at the 2011 American Music Awards over the weekend and you can check out the official studio version below:
