Tulisa Contostavlos' arm gesture on X Factor to be investigated by Ofcom

Every week on X Factor, as Tulisa Contostavlos is introduced, she holds her arm out and displays her tattoo, which reads as 'The Female Boss'.

This gesture is to be investigated by the broadcasting watchdog, Ofcom, as 'The Female Boss' is also the name of the N-Dubz singer's perfume, which she launched last month. 

Ofcom received three complaints that by displaying her tattoo, 23-year-old Contostavlos was promoting the brand on the ITV1 show and on its after show, The Xtra Factor, on ITV2 and has therefore broken broadcasting rules on the promotion of commercial products.
