Arctic Monkeys' Alex Turner wants another go at Glastonbury

Arctic Monkeys mainman Alex Turner has revealed that he would love to headline the Glastonbury Festival again - because they didn't play well enough last time in 2007.

The band topped the Pyramid Stage bill over four years ago, but Turner reckons that their performance wasn't quite up to scratch.

Speaking to GQ, the singer admitted that taking another shot at headlining Glastonbury to make amends is on his musical to-do list. He said:

"I mean, there's many things. There's a lot left, yeah. I'd really like another shot at headlining Glastonbury. I don't think we got that quite right when we did it."

As recently reported, Turner conceded that the band name 'Arctic Monkeys' isn't quite the best around - and he admitted even some of the dodgy tribute band monikers out there are better.
