Little Mix want to bring back "girl power"

X Factor winners Little Mix say they're happy with being compared to the Spice Girls - and that they're hoping to bring back "girl power".

The group won the competition last weekend (December 11) and have already sparked off comparisons to the Spice Girls.

And, speaking to the Sunday Mirror, Little Mix singer Leigh-Anne Pinnock proclaimed that they want to bring back the pop group's famous "girl power" ethos. She said:

"It's fine for people to be saying we can achieve what the Spice Girls achieved. But if we achieved a tenth of that we are going to be happy. We want to bring the girl power vibe back. We're all different girls. We dress differently, like different styles but come together to form a band. There’s something for everyone."

Pinnock also revealed that they're hoping to go straight into the studio to record an "urban and R&B pop album".
