Katy B reveals headlining nerves

Katy B has admitted that she was attacked by nerves when she went out on her first headlining tour.

In an interview with the Observer, the singer said that she was "proper freaked out" as she headed out on tour earlier this year to headline.

The Mercury Prize nominated star had previously toured the country as a support act, but she admitted topping the bill was a completely different matter. She said:

"It was so nerve-wracking. There were 3,000 people there just to see…me. I'd never been top billing before. The first time I went out under the spotlight I was proper freaked out."

When asked if she is now used to the limelight, he added:

"Nah, you never get used to it. At least, I hope I don't."
