Labrinth confirms release date of 'Electronic Earth'

Labrinth has finally confirmed the release date of his debut solo album, 'Electronic Earth'.

The artist and producer has already enjoyed a successful career as a featured star and writer of some of the UK's biggest contemporary hits, including Tinie Tempah's 'Pass Out' and 'Frisky', but will now stand alone with his first independent offering. 

'Electronic Earth' will be released through Simon Cowell's label, Syco, on March 19, 2012 and there will also be a deluxe edition of the record along with the standard version. 

The superstar also recently announced a full UK tour that will kick off in Birmingham on February 23 and is set to run until March 8. The full list of dates is as follows:

  • February 23 - Birmingham, HMV Institute
  • February 24 - Liverpool, O2 Academy
  • February 25 - Manchester, Academy 2
  • February 26 - Glasgow, O2 ABC 2
  • February 28 - Leeds, Metropolitan University
  • February 29 - Oxford, O2 Academy
  • March 1 - Bristol, O2 Academy
  • March 2 - Cardiff, University Solus
  • March 4 - Norwich, Waterfront
  • March 5 - London, KoKo
  • March 8 - Brighton, Concorde
