Holly Valance has announced that she is engaged to her millionaire property developer boyfriend Nick Candy. 

The Australian singer and actress posted a message to her fans on Twitter last night, December 22, to tell them the news and accompanied the tweet with a beautiful photograph of the moment when Candy popped the question:

"And I said YES!!! ♥ Happiest day of my life!!!!! Xxxx Thank you EVERY ONE for your beautiful well wishes! We're high as kites on excitement & love! Thank U 4 all your thoughtful messages! ♥H&N♥"

The attached picture shows Candy on one knee proposing to Valance on a beach at night with the question 'will you marry me?' lit up in flames behind them. She has been flooded with congratulations on the engagement.
